Are you itching to paint, but repelled by iffy conditions outdoors?
Indoor still life painting can help you boost your painting chops. Quirky colorful setups, congenial environment, comfortable studio.
With a controlled set up, you concentrate on basics: composition, drawing, and color.
ColorSpace Arts is a cozy, well-appointed studio in El Cerrito, just off San Pablo Avenue. Previously Susan Chuang had her personal studio there, and now is offering it for classes. It has great light, ventilation, a bathroom and work sink. There are tables and easels for student use.
