Wild Sky, Field Station (with geese), 2023, oil on panel, 12”X 24”

Here's my final chance to share this year’s work and catch up with new friends.
Holiday gifts, home decor, mental health boost: Original art enlivens a home!

I'd love to spend a few minutes in deep looking and conversation with you.
In addition to large pieces, I have Inspiring small landscapes, tiny paintings of my birds, digital prints, or note card collections ready to take home.
Or brainstorm a commission!

Studio is 1 Block north of Solano at Peralta. Look for signs.

Larger pieces on view to pique your interest, possibly in a commission. I’m looking forward to having the discussions that come with deep looking together.

Finally, I'm able to host an indoor class!

So much is possible with simple objects.

Tuesday morning still life class in El Cerrito starts August 15.
Are you itching to paint, but repelled by iffy conditions outdoors?
Indoor still life painting can help you boost your painting chops. Quirky colorful setups, congenial environment, comfortable studio.
With a controlled set up, you concentrate on basics: composition, drawing, and color.

ColorSpace Arts just off San Pablo Ave in El Cerrito. It has great light, ventilation, a bathroom and work sink. There are tables and some easels for student use.

Six Tuesdays 10–12:30

Space limited to 8 students, vaccination required
